Donate for Ukrainian Refugees
The American Multinational Jewish Federation (AMJF) collaborates with a network of vetted local organizations in Moldova and Ukraine to address the needs of vulnerable communities impacted by natural or human-made disasters. To achieve this goal, we work closely with these organizations to assess the needs of affected individuals and create a “menu of needs” that addresses the identified requirements. This menu is subject to change as the humanitarian crisis caused by the Russian invasion of Ukraine continues to evolve.
We offer donors the option to select the supplies they wish to procure and have them delivered on their behalf or to support the local organizations directly. Donors may also donate directly to AMJF, thereby enabling AMJF to focus the funds on the most pressing immediate needs. The following list represents the current “menu of needs” requested by local organizations, with costs based on the total delivered cost, including item cost, shipping, service fees, and any local taxes in Ukraine or Moldova.
We are currently focusing on winter and school supplies. We evaluated the supplies previously brought in and what things are the most impactful and not supplied by bigger and governmental organizations. Consensus among our local partners was of the supplies that we have brought into Ukraine so far, the items below are the most impactful.
Please note that the list of items is subject to change based on the evolving needs of affected individuals and communities.
