Activities

The American Multinational Jewish Federation collaborates with its partners in Ukraine and Moldova to distribute essential supplies and initiate programs that cater to the needs of displaced individuals, vulnerable communities, and other individuals affected by the war. AMJF’s local NGO partners assess the requirements of the affected people and submit requests for supplies, which are subsequently transferred to the partner NGO to distribute amongst its beneficiaries.

The following are examples of activities from our partners.

Humanitarian Aid Coordination Headquarters of Odesa Region

The event was organized as a Ukrainian refugee socialization event with AMJF, local NGOs, local businesses, and the squash and paddle clubs in Chișinău, Moldova and Iasi, Romania. The first pickleball games in Moldova were attended by about 35-40 players, of which 15 were Ukrainian teenage refugees. This was the kick-off event for an after-school socialization program for Ukrainian and Moldovan kids.
