Donate for Ukrainian Refugees
The American Multinational Jewish Federation (AMJF) works in partnership with a network of vetted local organizations in Ukraine and Moldova to address the evolving needs of vulnerable communities affected by natural and human-made disasters. Through close collaboration with these organizations, we continually assess the needs of those impacted and develop a “menu of needs” that reflects current, on-the-ground realities. As the humanitarian crisis resulting from the Russian invasion of Ukraine continues to unfold, this menu is updated to address shifting priorities.
The Consortium of Ukrainian and Moldovan Academic Institutions (CUMAI) plays a central role in this effort, serving as a key conduit for identifying urgent needs and ensuring supplies reach those who need them most. CUMAI universities work directly with their local communities, including first responders, orphanages, schools, NGOs, businesses, veterans’ groups, and others, to identify needs and oversee the effective distribution of aid.
We offer donors the flexibility to select specific supplies for procurement and delivery or to support local organizations directly. Alternatively, donors can contribute to AMJF’s general fund, enabling us to allocate resources to the most pressing needs as they arise. The current “menu of needs,” listed below, reflects the highest-priority items requested by our local partners. All costs include the item price, shipping, service fees, and any applicable local taxes in Ukraine or Moldova.
This list is based on careful evaluation and consensus among our academic and NGO partners, who have highlighted which supplies are most impactful and are not provided by larger governmental organizations. Please note that the menu is subject to change as local needs evolve.
